This privacy policy explains how the KSE Facilitator Network (operated by Kyusho Sensory Energetics) collects, uses, and protects your personal data when you use this directory at facilitator.sensoryenergetics.com.

Who we are

Kyusho Sensory Energetics (“KSE”, “we”, “us”) operates the public facilitator directory at facilitator.sensoryenergetics.com and the main website at www.sensoryenergetics.com.

What data we collect

We collect the following categories of personal data:

• Facilitator profile data: name, country, city, photo, biography, certification module, social media links, and reviews. This data is publicly visible on facilitator profile pages by design (it is the directory).
• Review submissions: when a client leaves a review for a facilitator, we collect the reviewer’s name, email address, rating, and review text. The name is shown publicly with the review; the email is held privately and used only to verify the review.
• Contact requests: when a client uses the contact form on a facilitator’s profile, we collect the client’s name, email, and phone number, and forward the request to the KSE team for routing to the relevant facilitator.
• Registration and instructor applications: when someone applies to join the directory or to become an instructor, we collect their name, email, and the application content they submit.
• Newsletter subscribers: email address and subscription preferences.
• Technical data: limited audit logs of administrative actions on the site. IP addresses are hashed when stored, and these logs are automatically deleted after 90 days.

Why we collect it

• To operate the public facilitator directory and let clients find practitioners.
• To verify the authenticity of reviews and prevent abuse.
• To route contact requests from clients to the relevant facilitator.
• To process applications to join the directory or instructor programme.
• To send newsletter content to subscribers who have opted in.
• To keep an audit trail of administrative changes for security purposes.

How long we keep it

• Facilitator profiles: until the facilitator asks to be removed, or their certification lapses.
• Reviews: kept indefinitely as part of the public profile, unless the reviewer or the facilitator requests deletion.
• Contact requests: kept while the request is being actioned, then archived.
• Registration / instructor applications: kept until reviewed and either approved (data moves to the directory) or rejected (data is purged after a reasonable review period).
• Newsletter subscribers: until you unsubscribe.
• Audit logs: 90 days, then automatically deleted.

Who we share it with

We do not sell your personal data. We share it only with the service providers required to run the site (cloud hosting, content delivery, email infrastructure), and with the relevant facilitator when you submit a contact request about them. We do not share your data with advertisers or marketing networks.

Your rights

We aim to comply with international data protection standards including the EU General Data Protection Regulation (EU GDPR), which applies to our handling of personal data of users in the European Union, and the UAE Personal Data Protection Law (Federal Decree-Law No. 45 of 2021), which applies to users based in the United Arab Emirates. You have the right to:

• Ask what personal data we hold about you (right of access).
• Ask us to correct inaccurate or incomplete data (right to rectification).
• Ask us to delete your personal data (right to erasure / “right to be forgotten”).
• Ask us to restrict how we process your data, or to object to specific uses.
• Ask us to provide your data in a portable format.
• Withdraw consent at any time, where we rely on consent (e.g. newsletter subscription).

How to exercise your rights

The easiest way is to use the contact form on the main KSE website: www.sensoryenergetics.com - mention that your message is a privacy request and tell us what you would like us to do (delete your data, send you a copy, etc.).

We aim to action all valid privacy requests within 30 days. If you are a facilitator listed in the directory and want your profile removed, please include your name and the URL of your profile so we can verify the request quickly.

Cookies

We use a minimal set of cookies needed for the site to function (e.g. session and consent cookies). We do not use third-party advertising or analytics cookies that track you across other sites. You can manage your consent at any time by clearing your browser’s site data for this domain, which will re-prompt the cookie banner.

Children

The directory is intended for adults seeking certified facilitators. We do not knowingly collect personal data from anyone under 16. If you believe we hold data about a child, please contact us and we will remove it.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The “last updated” date at the top of the page reflects the most recent change. Material changes will be highlighted on the homepage for a reasonable period after they take effect.

Complaints

If you are not happy with how we have handled your privacy request, you have the right to lodge a complaint with the data protection authority where you live. In the United Arab Emirates this is the UAE Data Office; in the European Union it is the supervisory authority of your country of residence.
